Position Summary: Prepares food in accordance with Company recipes and standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve all required food items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards.
  • Set up service units and prep cook station with needed items. Maintain and break down as appropriate.
  • Ensure that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary according to Company standards and state and local health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain security and safety in the kitchen according to Company policy.
  • Maintain a neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Requisition items needed to produce menu items.
  • Cover, date, and neatly store all leftover products that are re-usable.
  • Perform other duties as appropriate, including dishes and nightly cleaning.

Qualifications:

  • High school required.
  • 1-year culinary experience preferred, preferably in the golf industry.
  • Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
  • Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.

Position Summary: Greets and serves food and/or beverages to patrons.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating, greet warmly and distribute menus.
● If local water conservation laws permit, fill glasses with ice water while guests decide upon order; answer questions, and suggest menu items.
● Take member/guest food and/or drink orders.
● Turn orders into kitchen; inform cooks about any special cooking instructions.
● Assemble food on tray; procure items from each station as necessary.
● Serve meal; place dishes by courses in front of each person; serve from the left of the person.
● Check back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenish water and butter as necessary.
● Remove soiled dishes as guests finished.
● Suggest and serve dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks.
● Verify the accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips, and other charges on all checks and present bill to guests.
● Handle all cash and credit cards as applicable from guest/member charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
● Keep tables, dining room, and bus station clean and tidy.
● Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
● Performs side work, clean-up, and closing duties as assigned.
● Attend pre-meal meetings as requested.
● Turn in signed tip declaration form weekly (where applicable)
● Perform other duties as appropriate.

Outside Services Attendant

Position Summary:

Participates in all activities related to outside member/guest services. Activities may include serving as a valet in the bag drop area, transporting golf bags from the parking lot and/or bag storage area too and from golf carts, cleaning clubs, staging and/or returning golf cars, performing practice range duties, cleaning and maintaining golf cars, etc. Responsibilities also include greeting and interacting with members/guests and providing information and/or assistance as appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bring carts from cart shelter to cart staging area. Ensure that carts are clean, operating properly, and are properly equipped with towels, pencils, scorecards, tees, sand/seed mix bottles, ice water, etc. Report any repair problems to the supervisor and mechanic.
  • Perform valet duties in the bag drop area including greeting and interacting with members/guests, removing golf bags from cars, and providing information, directions and/or assistance as appropriate.

  • Transport golf bags from the bag drop area or bag storage room and load onto assigned golf carts.

  • Greet golfers returning from the course, clean golf clubs, unload golf clubs from carts and assist with transporting and loading into vehicles or returning bags to the storage area as appropriate.

  • Return golf cars to the cart storage area. Remove towels, pencils, scorecards, tees, trash, etc., from carts and save reusable items. Wash cart with a pressure cleaner, park the cart, and connect charger cable.

  • Perform practice range duties including transporting range balls to each end of the range and filling appropriate containers, cleaning and maintaining the tee area, repositioning bag stands or barriers, removing trash from receptacles, refilling water jugs, operating the ball picker on the range, washing range balls, etc.

  • Perform other duties as appropriate.

Education/Qualifications/Certifications:

  • High school preferred.

  • No experience necessary

  • Demonstrated quality interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including evenings/weekends.

  • Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.

Position Physical Requirements:

Must have the ability to:

  • Read and write (English)
  • Communicate verbally with staff members and/or customers with or without the use of two-way radios.
  • Give and/or follow verbal and written instructions
  • Visually inspect all work areas, golf course, and grounds
  • See players on the golf course, and follow the flight of golf balls
  • Operate vehicles and equipment for several hours at a time
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time
  • Lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly

Supervises: None

Working Conditions:

Work hours may include days and evenings on weekdays and weekends. Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. May be exposed to inclement weather, potentially dangerous chemicals, solvents, pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, misdirected golf balls, sharp and rapid equipment movement on a daily basis. Injury may result as a result of exposure to the above if safety policies and practices are not properly followed.
