PGA Jr. Summer Camp

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate. The cost is $250. This camp is for golfers aged 9 to 13 and runs from 9 am to Noon.
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their technical skills as well as develop an understanding of course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age to create a favorable learning environment. In the afternoon, campers head to the course for supervised play which allows students to apply techniques they learned on the range to the course. Lunch is included unless otherwise noted. Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced. The cost is $425. This camp is for golfers aged 9 to 16 and runs from 9 am to 3 pm.

Ryan Roberts, PGA – Camp Director
Ryan Roberts is a PGA Professional and has been teaching golf for over 17 years. His love for the game started at age 4 when his Grandfather first put a club in his hands. He is a leading professional for the PGA Junior League and active in the development of youth programs. Ryan has worked with all ages and skill levels. After eight years working at two world class award winning courses in Colorado, Ryan moved to Idaho and worked as the Head Professional at River Birch Golf Course, and then an Assistant Golf Professional at Crane Creek Country Club before becoming Director of Golf at Lakeview Golf Club. Ryan says he has enjoyed meeting thousands of people throughout his golfing career. He believes that golf is a key component to life.
